The Purpose of Excel

A part of Microsoft's Office suite, Excel is the world's most popular spreadsheet software in the world. It is used for many things but it EXCELS in versatility.
It can be used for a vast number of things, which includes but is not limited to:
Crunching Numbers: To create budgets, tabulate expenses, analyze survey results, and perform any sort of financial analysis your heart desires.
Creating Charts: Visualizing data in a large variety of highly customizable charts.
Organizing Data: The spreadsheet form factor allows you to stored heaps of data very efficiently.
Accessing Other Data: You can import data from a variety of databases.
Automating Tedium: Through Excel’s macro capabilities, you can perform a multitude of tedious steps with a single click or keyboard shortcut.
Other: Calendars and schedules, seating charts, mock-ups, task lists, checklists, project management, time logs, forms, quizzes, CRM, mailing lists, historical logs, sudoku puzzles, and the list goes on.
There are many different business uses of Excel. Almost every office in the world uses Microsoft Excel, and it is considered to be a very valuable skill to be proficient in the program. Being proficient in Excel gives you the freedom to store, evaluate, and visualize data at ease. The purposes to this program is limitless, and the purpose of this blog is to give you the tools to make with whatever you will using Excel.
